We have the Joy and the Love of God

God has shared his love and joy abroad in our hearts in that while we were yet sinners He came to die on the cross for our sins during a sermon by Pastor John Asachov on Sunday. 

Pastor John intimated that when we think about God, it’s all about love and joy and when we connect with Him, He will fill our life with spiritual joy. The book of 1 Corinthians 13:6 says, “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth”.

The pastor charged the church not to live in an unwholesome manner but we should live as righteous people. He added that no sin is hidden from God and no sin is small or big but God sees every unrighteous deed as a sin. 

He further admonished the church to read and meditate on the word of God everyday. “Read the bible in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening because it is important that we grow in the spirit of the Lord”, he advised.

He cautioned the church that the devil will always try to make us justify our sins and try to make us think that our negative actions are normal and then we begin to call darkness, light which he said “it’s dangerous as a Christian” to fall in this trap of the enemy.
